Long-Term Entrance Requirements
Master of Arts Degree & Graduate Certificate Programs
- Passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months beyond the completion of your program by the time of application
- Complete application

- Healthy physical condition
- Pay appropriate fees
- TOEFL score 550 for non-native English speakers or 2 years at an English-only college
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on official transcripts from post-secondary institutions and completion of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Semester Abroad Program (Graduate or Undergraduate)
- Passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months beyond the completion of your program by the time of application
- Complete application
- Healthy physical condition
- Pay appropriate fees
- TOEFL score 550 for non-native speakers of English or 2 years at an English-only college
- Official transcripts from post-secondary institutions
- Graduate students must have completed an undergraduate degree
- Undergraduate students must have successfully completed one year of college with a minimum 2.5 GPA
Short-Term Entrance Requirements
Historical & Geographical Settings and Jesus & His Times
- Individuals must be 18 years of age or older
- Passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months beyond the completion of your program by the time of application
- Complete Short-Term application
- Complete registration for individual program
- Complete pastoral reference
- Healthy physical condition
- TOEFL score 550 for non-native speakers of English or 2 years at English only college
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on official transcripts from post-secondary institutions (not required if auditing the course)
- Pay program deposit
- Submit Israel's ETA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorization) form for visa-exempt countries
All Other Short-Term Programs
- Individuals must be 18 years of age or older
- Passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months beyond the completion of your program by the time of application
- Complete Short-Term application
- Complete registration for individual program
- Healthy physical condition
- Pay program deposit
- Submit Israel's ETA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorization) form for visa-exempt countries
Online Entrance Requirements
JUC Online Semester Learning
- Complete application

JUC Online Summer Institute

- Pay registration fee
Policy Regarding Children
Regularly Scheduled Programs: Mature children 16 years of age or older are allowed when accompanied by a parent. Couples or individual parents who bring children need to be housed off campus.
Special Programs: The decision to allow children is up to the group leader who is arranging the program. Any program with children needs to be housed off campus.
Non-Discrimination Policy
JUC does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, national, or ethnic origins. Course work involves sustained hiking and daily climbing, up stairs and/or hills, up to 10 miles a day in rugged terrain to places that are normally inaccessible. Therefore, JUC programs are not feasible for those with certain physical disabilities or limitations.
