OTHER LONG-TERM PROGRAMS
Archaeological Dig Opportunities
Jerusalem University College has been involved in archaeology in Israel
since the beginning. In fact the earliest known
inscription of the Aaronic blessing was discovered by then IHLS
students in a burial cave in the Valley of Hinnom on the grounds
of the Scots Memorial Church across from the campus.
Many of the
faculty of JUC are highly regarded archaeologists in Israel.
The following links will take you to the current sites that JUC
utilizes for students desiring archaeological dig experience. Credit is available from JUC. Click the

Excursion: Fall Semester
As a part of JUC's semester abroad program, after the fall semester
each year, the graduate and undergraduate students take a 7 day
field trip into Egypt. In certain cases a limited number
of short-term students may join this program. If you are a
fall semester student, sign up at registration.
