BOARD OF DIRECTORS
| Organizational Structure

The board consists of qualified individuals from many different fields.  This helps ensure a well rounded approach to the various issues that are faced in order to fulfill the mission of Jerusalem University College.  All members serve three-year staggered terms.  The annual meeting of the board is held in November and a second meeting is generally held each spring.  The board functions within it's by-laws and conducts its meetings utilizing Robert's Rules of Order.

Executive Committee: Consists of the officers of the board, which are the chair, vice-chair, treasurer and secretary.  This committee is directly responsible for oversight of the administration of JUC.  Officers are elected each year.

Finance Committee: Consists of the chair of the committee, and various members of the business and academic community that have extensive administrative and fiduciary responsibilities within their organizations.  This committee is responsible for the oversight of the financial affairs of JUC.

Education Committee and Consortium Membership Committee: Consists of the chair of the Consortium of Associated Schools and the three members from that consortium that represent various school groupings.  This committee is responsible for the oversight of the academic affairs of JUC, which also includes the membership of schools in the Consortium of Associated Schools.

Consortium of Associated Schools of Jerusalem University College: This advisory group consists of one representative from each of the more than 100 member schools.  Each year they elect the chair to represent them on the board of directors.

Representatives from the various groupings, which include Seminaries and Graduate Schools, Colleges and Universities, Professional Schools and Bible Colleges, are staggered in their election and rotate within their grouping to allow all schools an opportunity to represent their particular section on the board of directors.

Jerusalem Advisory Council: This advisory group consists of members of the Jerusalem community.  Members may be from the business, political, medical, religious, and academic communities.  Members also represent various Christian, Jewish and Palestinian Faith communities in Israel.

This group meets annually with the director in Jerusalem who carries their advice and recommendations to the board of directors.  Many of these members work very closely with the administration to provide assistance, advice, and services to the administration and our students on a regular on-going basis.
